Tegan and I are on our way to Haiti to answer the call of God in our lives. We want our lives to count for something greater. We are stepping out in faith - believing - that the Lord is holding us in his arms.Tegan has been asked to teach English in the agriculture school. There are 150 eager students and only one other teacher. She has been student-teaching in Nicaragua with Brendan's mom in the classroom and in a Saturday school with his sister Noelle for the last several weeks.
Brendan will be apprenticing in a small dairy program and learning about tropical dairy production and feed techniques. He will also be studying under a Uruguayan cheese maker.
The plan is to work and learn at SEED Haiti for the next year. We will be studying Creole and looking for ways to be a blessing in the lives of the people of Haiti. Thank-you for your love and support.
